Faizal Kundil is the Head of Consumer Banking at Ajman Bank, overseeing consumer and corporate finance departments. He joined Ajman Bank in January 2021, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in retail banking. Under Faisal’s leadership, the bank’s retail finance portfolio has experienced substantial growth in both assets and liabilities. His deep understanding of banking products, including Islamic finance, combined with a strategic approach to value generation, has led to increased customer satisfaction, trust, loyalty, and engagement.

Faizal boasts diverse expertise in strategic planning for consumer services, product strategy, marketing, execution, sales expansion, distribution, product and channel development, digital solutions modernization, payment solutions, and sales development. Under his guidance, Ajman Bank has consistently achieved ambitious budget goals while continuously enhancing innovation and performance standards.

Prior to joining Ajman Bank, Faizal worked at Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, and the Abu Dhabi First Bank Group in various consumer finance roles. He holds a Leadership Acceleration Program certification from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi, India.
