Ajman, 22 September 2010 - Ajman Bank recently started integrating the Quick Response (QR) code technology into their banking services. In order to promote the service the bank is holding a new campaign, which will qualifies all participants to enter a raffle draw that will reward 10 lucky winners with an ipad. 
With the popularity of QR code growing rapidly all around the world, Ajman Bank is the first banks in the Gulf area to incorporate the QR code technology. Ajman Bank aims through its campaign to educate its customers on the QR code capabilities and purpose. The modern technology will appear within a variety of the bank’s communication materials such as its business cards, ATMs, and accounts and credit card statements.
For those who are unfamiliar with the bar code technology, a QR is two dimensional barcode that consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern against a white background. Any information encoded can be text, URL, telephone number or other data, and can be read by any phone that has a camera and a built in or a downloadable scanner.

This emerging technology will allow our customer to access bank information both quickly and effectively, helping to bring people closer to the Ajman Bank brand. “

The campaign, which kicked off this week, will consist several draws taking place at different locations that will be announced by Ajman Bank later.  The coming draw will take place at Ajman City Center on September 25th.  Customers can enter the draw through a variety of channels such as post cards (available from all branches), ATM screens, Ajman Bank’s mall stand at Mirdif City Centre, and on the bank’s website.
